I graduated dental school in June of 2005 and I started with Doctor Harper in July of 2005. So I guess we're looking at 12 years now. I'm actually from Trenton, Tennessee. Grew up here. I went to college, an undergrad at the University of Tennessee at Martin. After that, I went to dental school at the University of Tennessee at Memphis. And then, as soon as I got into dental school, Doctor Harper was actually my dentist growing up. So he started recruiting me and so here I am. So right after graduation, I came back home. We're all members of TDA and ADA, American Dental Association. We're actually in the seventh District here. We're all members of DOCS which is Dentist For Oral Conscious Sedation and a member of American Academy of Implants. Growing up, my dad was a pharmacist. And I always knew that I wanted to do something in a medical field. Didn't really want to put the hours in as a physician. And I was one of those kids that always enjoyed coming to the dentist. So when I made my decision, dentistry is where it fell. The most satisfying thing about my work as a dentist is helping people. At this office, we see a lot of anxious, very terrified patients that have had bad experiences at other offices. It's very gratifying we could work on those patients and treat their problems, fix their smile, and they leave here very happy and not near as afraid with the dentist as they have been in the past. I have been married to my wife for 12 years. We have two children. I have an eight-year-old little boy and a three-year-old little girl. We spend a lot of time at the lake. My little boy is into all kinds of sports right now. So we're at a lot of athletic fields: football, basketball, baseball. So just a lot of family time and we'll go to church on Sundays. We talk a lot about new patients. I like them to know I'm a family man, good Christian man. We all are at this office and I'm very, very proud of it. The main thing is we like our patients to know when they're here, they're our number one priority. And we want everybody to feel like they can come and it's a family environment.
