Bone Saving Benefits
of Dental Implants

Dental implants provide amazing bone-saving benefits. The implants act as prosthetic tooth roots to provide much-needed stimulation to the jawbone. This stimulation prevents jawbone atrophy. Dental implants are the only restorative dentistry treatment that can stop or prevent jawbone loss.

Denture Timeline

At Elite Dental Care, your treatment is tailored to your unique dental needs, so this treatment timeline may vary.

Initial Consultation

During your initial consultation, your dentist will examine your mouth and discuss your dental history and goals to determine if dentures are the right course of treatment for you. He or she will also determine if you will need preparatory treatments like extractions or treatment for gum disease. This ensures a healthy foundation for your dentures.

Preparatory Treatment

If you need preparatory treatment such as tooth extraction, implants, or periodontal treatment, this must be performed first. For extractions and implants, your mouth must be given time to heal. Extractions generally require a few weeks of healing time, while implants will require several months.

Once you heal, or if you do not need preparatory treatment, your dentist will take impressions of your teeth and mouth in order to craft your custom dentures.

Fitting and Adjustments

Once your dentures are completed, you will have a fitting appointment. This allows the dentist to ensure your new dentures fit and function properly. If necessary, your dentist will make adjustments so that you are completely comfortable. It is normal to need a few appointments for adjustments as you get used to your new dentures.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for my dentures?

Caring for your dentures is easy. Traditional full or partial dentures are removable, and you can brush them using a soft bristle toothbrush.

Implant-supported dentures are only removed during regular exams and cleaning. Treat them as you would your natural teeth.

Will my dentures match my natural teeth?

Yes. We color match to help ensure natural-looking results. Oftentimes, people choose to undergo cosmetic dentistry treatments such as professional teeth whitening to ensure their natural teeth match their new dentures.

Best dental care I have ever had! Very Friendly. The prices are upfront and they make it as easy as possible to get the care you need while dealing with insurance and the out of pocket costs. Care credit, ( a great card to have); is also accepted for payments. I have never had to wait long for service and have never felt rushed. My questions are always answered and procedures are thoroughly explained. Plus this is the first time I have had conscious sedation for dental was great and painless! (This option was never offered through the other Dental Care places I have tried.) Just give them a try and see for yourself!

Wow, the staff was the greatest! The doctor was very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable of my dental issues. The office was very cleaned. I hate going to the dentist. However, the staff made me feel comfortable and welcome. Short wait also! Kudos to the doctor and staff!
