Cindy Hankins, RDA
Cindy’s career with Elite Dental Care started in 1990. She is a favorite of our patients because of her calming manner. Cindy completed the dental assisting program at Tennessee Technology Center in Jackson. She went the extra mile in her training and became certified in coronal polishing and nitrous oxide monitoring as well. She is a lifelong resident of Trenton and is married to Marty. They have one daughter and two grandchildren.
Sallie King, RDA
Sallie has been working at Elite Dental Care since 2005. One of her special talents is being a great listener, and our patients feel they can tell her any concerns they may have. Sallie received her Registered Dental Assistant certification from Tennessee Technology Center in Jackson and is also certified in nitrous oxide monitoring. A lifelong resident of Trenton, Sallie is a graduate of Peabody High School and is married to Ed King.
Valli Smith, RDH
Valli has been with Elite Dental Care since February 2006. She started her career in the office as a registered dental assistant, and then furthered her education to become a registered dental hygienist. Valli received her dental hygiene degree from West Kentucky, where she graduated with honors. She obtained certification for both administering local anesthesia and administering and monitoring nitrous oxide from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. Valli is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, and is active in the local 7th district Tennessee Dental Hygienists Association. She and her husband Brent live in Rutherford with their beautiful daughter, Kinley. They attend New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dyer, TN.
Catherine Betts, RDH
Catherine is a 1999 graduate of the University of Tennessee in Memphis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She received the Tennessee Dental Hygienists' Association Outstanding Student Award, Clinical Achievement Award, Professional Leadership Award and membership to the Sigma Phi alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society. She has been employed since graduation at Elite Dental Care where she is one of three Registered Dental Hygienists.
Her interest in the field of dentistry began in 1984 when she and her father opened up a dental laboratory in Trenton, TN. Even though she is no longer a full time dental technician, she still enjoys the work relationship with her father, since he is now the office in house lab tech. Her expansive knowledge and education in prosthetic functions, administration of oral anesthesia, along with administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide makes her a valuable asset to the practice.
She has served as President of the 7th District Dental Hygiene Association for 5 years. Her love of people and passion for helping others has lead to volunteering her hygiene skills on the Mission field in Aldama, Mexico. She has also participated in the Smile & See Program, Smiles & Blessings as well as the The Sweet Tooth Event. She and her daughter Lauren are active members at Eldad Baptist Church in Trenton, TN.
Kathy Milligan, RDH
After receiving her associate degree from Jackson State Community College, Kathy attended the University of Tennessee at Memphis where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. She has since obtained certification in the expanded functions of prosthetics and nitrous oxide administration through the university. Kathy is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association. She has served as Secretary and currently holds the office of Treasurer. She enjoys volunteering with community organizations such as the Smiles & Blessings Ministry, Smile & See Project, and the Sweet Tooth Event. Kathy and her husband Tony reside in Trenton with their three daughters where they are active members of Eldad Baptist Church. She has a patient of Elite Dental since childhood and a hygienist with the practice since 1994. She values the friendships of the patients she sees and considers it a privilege to provide the gentle dental care they deserve.
Candy Jo Hughes, Patient Coordinator
Candy has been with Elite Dental Care since August 2007. Her job is to schedule your next checkup and cleaning appointment and to remind you that it’s time to come back in. We know you’ll be impressed with her friendliness; we certainly are. Candy lives in Dyer with her husband Ricky and their two sons.
Ashley Croom, Financial Manager
Ashley has been with Elite Dental Care since April 2006. She is the heartbeat of our office and schedules Dr. Harper’s and Dr. Buchanan’s appointments. She’s famous for her ability to juggle lots of tasks and still keep up with everything! She and her husband Mike live in Dyer with their two children. She is an active member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Erin White, Dental Assistant
Erin has been working with Elite Dental Care since 2009. She received her Registered Dental Assistant Certification from Tennessee Technology Center in Jackson, Tennessee and is also certified in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring. She is a life long resident of Trenton, Tennessee and a graduate of Peabody High School. She and her husband Danny have two sons.
Jennifer Cloyd, Dental Assistant
Jennifer has been with Elite Dental Care since July 2008. She completed the dental assisting program at Tennessee Technology Center in Jackson, Tennessee in 1995. She is certified in Coronal Polishing & Nitrous Oxide monitoring as well. When not caring for patients at Elite Dental Care she enjoys being a licensed Massage Therapist. She has been married since 1994 and has 2 children. She resides in Trenton and is an active member of First Presbyterian Church.
Kristin Warrington, Administrative Assistant
Kristin is the hands and feet of the office. She is all hands on deck when it comes to patient hospitality. She has dabbled in everything that has come through this office, from patient charts to insurance data entry. She completed her pre-requisites of Jackson State Community College in Jackson, Tennessee and is currently in pursuit of her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Kristin is vivacious and a delight to be around. She is a long time resident of Trenton and a member of Eldad Baptist Church.
Melody Cates, Hygiene Coordinator
Melody is a newcomer to the Elite Dental Care Team. She is enthusiastic and meticulous to detail. Her job is to schedule your next checkup and cleaning appointment and to remind you that it’s time to come back in. She is thorough and will work diligently to ensure everyone has a great dental experience. Melody resides in Jackson, Tennessee with her husband and two sons.
Cassandra Parker, Practice Manager
Cassandra joins the practice with 13 years in dentistry. She received her Bachelors in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University in 1998. Then she went on to earn her Masters in Arts and Religion from Memphis Theological Seminary in 2003. She is a registered Dental Assistant with certifications in Dental Radiology, Coronal Polishing and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring. She and her husband Davey are both ordained ministers at Smyrna Baptist Church in Huntingdon, TN. Cassandra and Davey are residents of Jackson with their two daughters and have been married since 2000.
